Surprisingly enough the cast got back together more than a week after reports surfaced alleging Jamie Lynn Spears was in talks with Nickelodeon for a Zoey 101 reboot.

Zoey 101 fans are getting riled up about the probable reboot. The show creator Dan Schneider posted pics on social media having dinner with the shows old cast. The pictures were from the Front Yard in North Hollywood. Everyone including Logan, Dustin, Quinn, Lola, Chase, Michael, and Mark Del Figgalo was there except Jamie Lynn Spears as she was in Atlanta. However, Jamie did reveal that the cast tried to FaceTime her while she was sleeping and she’s hopeful to see them all once again very soon.

Dan said that the buzz around Zoey 101 got him talking with Chase and within 72 hours the reunion happened. He added that he was not sure how he feels about his new glasses, but it was one of the most fun nights ever. He praised the cast by writing, an excellent cast of kids then and even better all grown up. Dan revealed that Jamie was busy shooting her new show in Atlanta. Jamie also took to Instagram to convey how sorry she was to miss the reunion and the FaceTime. It’s been over ten years since the last episode of Zoey 101 aired on Nickelodeon. And if we’re to believe in some reports, the reboot follows Zoey’s life in Southern California a decade later at the age of 28. It is also speculated that she would have a couple of kids this time around. For all the fans out there, get ready to dive in a bottomless pit of nostalgia with the reboot.
