Bindi Irwin is getting married to Chandler Powell who proposed to her on her 21t birthday with an engagement ring. Russell Crowe offers Bindi his estate Nana Glen as her wedding venue.
Bindi Sue Irwin, an Australian television personality and conservationist were born in Buderim, Queensland, Australia. At the age of 9, she hosted Bindi the Jungle Girl which is a children’s wildlife documentary TV series.
Chandler proposed to Bindi on her birthday
Chandler Powell, an American wakeboarder from Florida proposed to Bindi Irwin on her 21st birthday on 24th July.
In talking about the venue of the wedding, Russell Crowe who is originally from New Zealand, offered Bindi his estate Nana Glen near Coffs Harbour, NSW, for use on her wedding day.
He loves Bindi like a daughter and would be so proud if it could be the place where Bindi would marry Chandler. Although the venue which came up in deciding was Australia Zoo also the place of the proposal and also Terri Irwin Bindi’s mother is the owner of the site.
Bindi wants her brother to walk her down the aisle
“I think that for me, it’ll be really important that Robert walks me down the aisle, that’s something that I really want to do,” she said in speaking with Entertainment Tonight.
According to Bindi, it will be best and right if Robert walks her down the aisle in place of their late father. “I’m so grateful that Robert is there. He has been such a big part of my life. And he’s always stepped up and been the one to give me a hug when I need it and encourage me. So he will definitely be the one to walk me down the aisle when the time comes. And I think that will make it really special”, she added.
