Fans are eagerly waiting for the third season of the teen drama web television series 13 reasons why. And many events have us assuming that it will be arriving soon. Although Netflix has not announced anything officially, it did say that the show will come in late 2019.
The shooting of the show has already started, and the cast and crew keep posting pictures related to the upcoming season.
The whole cast will be returning for the latest season except Katherine Langford who plays the character of Hannah Baker. The actress hinted in a post that she would not be returning for season 3. In the post, she also mentioned that 13 reasons why will always be special to her.
And also according to Showrunner Brian Yorkey Hannah’s story is over and the show must focus on the story of the other cast members. He stated that”If there is a future for the show, to me, it’s about these characters, and not necessarily a new set of reasons or a new set of tapes. Someone else might do that, but that’s not my job to do that. ”
13 Reasons Why Season 1 was based on an American teen drama novel of the same name by author Jay Asher. The series premiered on Netflix on March 31, 2017, and comprised of 13 episodes. The show became an instant hit and was liked by many viewers. Analyzing the popularity of the show, the makers decided to go ahead with the second season, and it was again released on Netflix on May 18, 2018. It mainly received criticism from the fans and did not manage to get good ratings too.
