Good news for the fans of the show, 13 reasons why. Netflix has renewed the show for season 4 which will also be the shows final season. The announcement was made on the same day Netflix released trailer for the show’s third season. The trailer for the third season brings of the question, Who killed Bryce Walker?
The third season of the show will premier on Netflix later this month and is set to pick up eight months after events of the previous season. According to two sources the show will focus on Clay(Dylan Minnette), Tony (Christian Navarro), Jessica (Alisha Boe), Alex(Miles Heizer), Justin (Brandon Flynn), and Zach(Ross Butler) find ways to cope up with the burden of the cover-up all the while helping Tyler (Devin Druid) to recuperate. However, Clay finds himself under constant police watch due to the disappearance of a football player right after a chaotic Homecoming game. Everything is dependent on a talented outsider who has to direct the group through an investigation that threatens to expose everyone’s deepest secret. If sources are to be believed, Katherine Langford would not be a part of the upcoming season.
The first season of show was based on the book of the same name by Jay Asher and the second season was an original story that picked up after the events of the first season. Season 1 was critically acclaimed and praised by everyone but the subsequent season failed to garner the same response. The third season is expected to be an exciting ride, and it is for us to judge whether it stands on the same podium as the first season which impressed everyone.
