Not Retiring, But No More Camera?
Brad Pitt, 55, just revealed that while he has no plans to retire soon, he might just stop acting for television and retire out the cameras from his life.
Pitt attended the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood premiere this week with castmates Margot Robbie and Leonardo DiCaprio as well as director, Quentin Tarantino. When asked about his future career plans at the event, he said that while he’s not sure about retirement, he’s been recently leaning towards acting less and less and spending his time on other projects.
“I think that one day I’ll just wake up and organically it’ll be done,” he said. Maybe I won’t wake up and that’s why it’ll be done.”
He also went a bit more into the specifics of the reason. Enjoying production lately was a major factor. He also believes that acting is “overall it’s a younger man’s game – not that there aren’t substantial parts for older characters – I just feel, the game itself, it’ll move on naturally. There will be a natural selection to it all.”
