Showtime announced this Friday that Gal Gadot would be playing the role of Hedy Lamarr in the upcoming documentary ‘Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story.’ The makers thought that Gal Gadot would be best for the part of Hedy Lamarr.

Gal Gadot is an Israeli actress and model born in Petag Tikva, Israel in 1985. She started her career at the age of 18 when she crowned Miss Israel in 2004. She served Israel Defense Forces for two years as a Combat instructor.
Gadot’s first international film was Fast & Furious (2009). She also played Wonder Women in DC Extended Universe.
