Jane the Virgin is a romantic dramedy satirical telenovela. It is based on a Venezuelan telenovela Juana la Virgen which was created by Perla Farias. The series started on October 12, 2014, and concluded on July 31, 2019.

The cast of the series includes Gina Rodriguez, Andrea Navedo, Yael Grobglas. Justin Baldoni, Ivonne Coll, Brett Dier, and many others are also in the cast.
About the story
The story revolves around a 23-year-old Latina Virgin Jane Villanueva, played by Gina Rodriguez. She becomes pregnant after accidental artificial insemination by her gynecologist. And the biological father turned out to be her boss and who is also her ex-crush.
Motherhood turns her life topsy-turvy, and she has to choose between the father of her baby and her boyfriend. The series includes different plots from Jane’s family members too making the genre the way it should be.
Last season of Jane: The virgin
Later there was a spin-off where every episode was according to the chapter of the novel written by Jane in the series making it Jane the Novela. Then it was announced that the spin-off was not moving forward.
The ending of Jane the Virgin was the one wanted by all of its fans. The end happened to be the predictable one. Which always had a hint but was never confirmed. Although it was a twist but the best possible thing for the series.
Snyder Urman who developed the series felt emotional in the finale episode. And emotions can not be expressed into words, but it can be felt. She said, “It made for a very emotional but cathartic final episode. Because we could speak a lot about saying goodbye.”
