Texas man faces murder charges after he confesses that he murdered his pregnant wife by stabbing herĀ more than 20 times
22-year-old man named Alex Guajardo called the 9-1-1 last Saturday and confessed for the murder of his wife, Caitlynne. His wife was four months pregnant and already a mother to an 8-month-old child when he stabbed her multiple times. And while the Texas police could reach their house, Caitlynne was already dead.

Pasadena Police Chief Paul Bruegger said that “He [Alex] had a large amount of blood on his pants. She had multiple stab wounds approximately 20, several to her abdomen and one to her throat.”
“I’m frustrated I’m angry I’m sad.”
When Gujardo was investigated, the police came to know that the couple was going through some marital problems. And their marriage was probably leading towards a divorce.

The Chief told that “HeĀ did state that he stabbed her in the stomach multiple times because he didn’t want another man to raise his baby.”
Guajardo was recently arrested in May and July for DWI, and a case of assault on a family member that led to a protective order that should have kept him behind bars, but instead Guajardo was given personal recognizance bonds.
“He was released from Harris County Jail on August 1 on a PR bond with no conditions.” And just two days after his released he murdered Caitlynne.
“How many arrests and PR bonds does a person get before it’s enough? How many murders are going to have to take place before we wake up and realize this is not the right path forward.”
The Chief has clearly said that “In my opinion these bail decisions are responsible at least in part for the death of Caitlynne Guajardo on Saturday.”
