InStyle magazine is celebrating their 25th anniversary, and various finest celebrities from the Hollywood have been talking about their past magazine covers memories. InStyle magazine’s Instagram handle recently uploaded a video of Almost Famous’ actress, Kate Hudson.
The video features the 40-year-old actress recalling the memories of her eight magazine covers through years, including the risqué cover back in 2001 where she posed nearly naked.
She recalls the moment when she first got her photo featured in InStyle magazine, back in 1996 and admits that since then the magazine had been a more significant part of the actress’ professional career.
Talking about the controversial 2001’s cover, she said that it wasn’t a great deal for her to take off the clothes and she always liked being naked no matter what people say as they can speak up whatever they want. She further claimed that the posing naked thing was basically chain mail for which the actress herself was strategically draped. The Academy Award winner was newly married to musician Chris Robinson just before the 2001’s cover.
In the video, the actress even called up the 2003 cover, the time when she was pregnant to her first child. Her recent feature in InStyle magazine was back in 2016. Hudson described the life had been transformed a lot. There was a time where an actor’s career would be like done if they did a commercial, but now she thinks that the actors are now celebrities and they control their own narratives.
