The Haunting of Hill House is an American supernatural horror drama web series created by Mike Flanagan for Netflix and produced by Amblin Television and Paramount Television.

After the successful season one, Get ready for another spooky story. The Haunting of Hill House season 2 officially titled The Haunting of Bly Manor, is approaching with Netflix revealing that the show will return later this year.

The upcoming season will not focus on the Crain family who appeared in season one, as it will tell anthology stories, akin to an American horror story. While the Haunting of Hill House was based on Shirley Jackson’s 1959 book, The Haunting Olof Bly Manor is based on The Turn of The Screw, a tale from way back in 1898.

The Turn of the Screw, on which the new series is based, tells the story of a governess who moves to Bly Manor to take care of a man’s niece and nephew after their parents died.

Things turn scary when the governess starts to see the ghost of the previous governess and her lover around the property. Exciting!! Isn’t it? This can be the new plot according to the book’s story.

The whole cast will not change; some will be back but in a completely new character. Oliver Jackson – Cohen and Victoria Pedretti, who played luke Crain and his younger twin Nell in the first season, are back! They are back in a completely new character. Netflix revealed that Jackson- Cohen would play Peter’s character who will make life difficult, and Pedretti will play the governess character Dani, who looks after children.

The official date is not confirmed yet. The first season of The Haunting of HillĀ  House was released on Netflix in October, and fans are expecting the second series in the same month or even on Halloween. Let’s wait for the confirmation and for the horror adventure.
