Netflix series, Atypical, created by Robia Rashid, will be coming soon with its fourth season in a row. The series revolves around the life of an 18-year old Sam Gardner, who suffers from autism spectrum disorder. Sam’s life has an enjoyable trail to it, which makes him a favorite among the viewers.
The first season was released on August 11, 2017, which consisted of 8 episodes. Though it was liked by many, it received criticism due to a lack of autistic actors and for not justifying ‘autism’ aptly. However, taking the criticism constructively, the series returned with a bang with the second season of 10 episodes in September 2018 and later with the third season of 10 episodes again in November 2019. These seasons were loved by the audience for involving more autistic characters and also for its brilliant scripting. Therefore, viewers are more excited about the upcoming season and also have high expectations from it.
In February 2020, it was confirmed that the series will be returning with a season 4 consisting of 10 episodes and would premiere in 2021. Confirmation about season 4 being the last and final season was also out, unfortunately making fans upset. But what more do you need than witnessing Sam Gardner back on screen!
