For almost three decades now, EA has been giving us a new version of the famous football video game series FIFA Football or FIFA Soccer every single year. With the release of the latest installment FIFA 20 on 27 September 2019, the developers have served the fans extremely exclusive and enhanced features. FIFA 21: When Will Fans be Able to Play the Next Sequel?
From the past few years, EA has launched the new version around the closure of September. FIFA 19 and FIFA 20 also were released in the last week of September. Thus, this year fans expect the sequel by the end of September.
However, there might be some delays in the launch of the game, following the worldwide CoViD-19 outbreak and disruptions in all sorts of working schedules. An official release date was also not announced in the first place but we will surely get the game by this year’s end as the work is under progress.
Where Will the Game FIFA 21 be Available to Play?
Just like what has been happening since now, the game will be available on various consoles like Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
As for the next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox series X, there hasn’t been any confirmation that FIFA 21 will also be available on these.
The regular/standard edition of FIFA 20 had cost around $50 in the US. There were different prices for all other newly introduced editions such as the Champions Edition and the Ultimate Edition. The same pattern is also probable to be followed this time. By pre-ordering, one can also play the game a few days earlier than the worldwide release.
What Will be New in FIFA 21?
The upcoming sequel in the series will have amazing new features for the fans to have a cool gaming hour. FIFA 21 is reported to have new icons of famous football personalities in the title joining the league of heroes. This time David Beckham, Oliver Kahn, and many more footballers can be the potential new icons.
The newly launched VOLTA Street Football Mode will come back for FIFA 21 after is success in FIFA 20. The Video Assistance Referee (VAR) may also see new upgrades with the introduction of new official leagues and clubs.
In FIFA 20, we saw Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard on the cover of the regular edition. The Champions Edition’s cover featured Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk. Cristiano Ronaldo had been on the cover for three installments before FIFA 20. So, there are multiple possibilities about the next cover athlete but no official confirmation has come yet.
