Queer Eye is like a reboot of the original series that aired in Bravo back in 2003, with new faces and new characters! The original Netflix series, released on February 7, 2018.
The series follows five gay men, who are experts in their fields, and they help unfortunate men and women in the US who are nominated by their friends.
Basically, they give them a makeover, change their lifestyle, and support them emotionally, encouraging, and motivating them to increase their confidence levels.
Queer Eye Season 5: Cast
It has the new Fab five, Antoni Porowski, who is an expert in food and wine, Tan France, who is a fashion expert, Karamo Brown, who is culture and lifestyle extraordinaire, Bobby Berk the best designer and Jonathan Van Ness, the grooming expert returning for the new season.
The resources have confirmed that Season 5 shooting has been completed, and it has been shot in Philadelphia. A few episodes have been filmed in Atlanta and Kansas City as well.
Queer Eye Season 5: Release Date
The release dates for Season 5 are yet to be announced by Netflix. The initial expectation was that the new season might drop in by February or March 2020, but now, with the Corona Pandemic in the picture, the earliest could be September 2020.
Why the whole world is in love with Queer Eye is so obvious, Karamo is so good at finding what’s wrong with the thinking of the person, Antoni teaching them how to cook along with them being so good with life lessons. Tan and Jonathan being the sweet talkers they are, helping the nominee to accept and love themselves just the way they are, brings tears of joy in every viewer’s eye.
No surprise that Netflix is renewing it! Netflix has also renewed the series for a season 6. Netflix confirmed that the production has already begun on March 11, 2020.
