The Boys Season 2- Release date, cast ,plot, episodes and everything else you need to know!

The Boys fans are in for a treat as they will be glad to know the superhero web television series is for a second season! Yes, you heard that, right!

The Amazon Prime show, The Boys, is returning with a brand new season. We expect its release around the same time the first season aired,i.e., July 2020.

The Boys Season 2 Cast

The leads on the show are coming back: Karl Urban (Billy Butcher), Jack Quaid (Hughie Campbell), Tomer Kapon (Frenchie), Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), Antony Starr (Homelander), Erin Moriarty (Annie January), Dominique McElligott (Queen Maeve), Jessie T.Usher(A-Train) and Karen Fukuhara (The Female).

Simon Pegg (Hugh Campbell) might not come back in this season.

New cast members that are joining the cast include Aya Cash and  Giancarlo Esposito. Where Aya will be playing Stormfront, a significant character and antagonist in the comics. Meanwhile, Giancarlo(Stan Edgar), who plays Stan Edgar made a cameo appearance in season 1 and returns for a prominent role along with the leads in season 2.

The Boys Season 2 Plot

The Boys season 2 trailer doesn’t reveal much about the plot of the show, but it seems that season 2 will pick up right where it left off.

In the finale episode of season 1, Billy’s wife is alive as she was shown raising Homelander’s baby and in addition to it the evil Superman, stand-in Homelander revealing a super-powered son, and Hughie saving the life of speedster A-Train.

One of the most exciting additions being made to the show is of Terror, Billy Butcher’s dog, from the comics who is trained to sexually violate things on command. Hilarious, isn’t it?

The Boys Season 2 Episodes and Release Date

The first season consisted of 8 episodes. Similarly, The second season will also have the same.
