Death In Her Hands Review
The novel is hauntingly mysterious, with suspense about an elderly widowed woman who found a mysterious note lying on the ground into the woods while she was walking her dog. Since that moment, her life is turned upside down.
Being obsessed with solving mysteries herself, she picks up the note, and it said, “Her name was Magda. Nobody will ever know who killed her. It wasn’t me. Her is her dead body.” But there was no dead body lying around. She became afraid, as she knew there and didn’t know anyone. She lives alone after her husband died.
As she became intrigued by this mystery note, the more she wanted to solve it. From making up the suspect list and motive of the crime, her investigation started. With every step, she started to join the dots in the real world.
However, gradually the fog was lifting from the mystery. It was both exciting and dreadful for her. With the investigation widening, the strange resemblance was occurring, some of which perhaps is connected to her own past. Hence we will see whether something is innocent or much more sinister than we thought.
The excellent blend of mystery, horror, dark comedy, and suspense, the narrator kept us on the edge of our seats the whole time.
