Tom Hardy Teased Fight Between VENOM and Marvel Cinematic Universe Tom Holland’s SPIDERMAN, Spiderman Dies At Last

If by any means the recently uploaded Instagram post (now deleted) by Venom actor Tom Hardy is real, then boy things will go crazy in the next installment of Sony’s Marvel Universe. The 42-year-old actor literally teased a fierce fight between Venom and Spiderman—indicating a potential crossover.

The Mad Max: Fury Road uploaded a post teasing a duel between Eddie Brock / Venom and Peter Parker / Spiderman. The actor took a screenshot of the fight between web-slinger and symbiote and uploaded a specific frame in which Venom is figuratively chewing Spiderman. Hardy removed the post within seconds of uploading in his Instagram Stories but unbeknownst (sarcasm) to Hardy, some core fans were ever to pull out the picture within such short span and shared all over the Internet.

The amusing post was made after Tom Hardy posted a video featuring logo and title for the highly anticipated sequel of 2018’s Venom, Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage. Sony has always been planning to feature all the important characters from Marvel’s Spiderman Comics in their shared universe. There’s still not any confirmation about Peter Parker (portrayed by Tom Holland) from Marvel Cinematic Universe to join the shared universe with Venom. Still, Sony has always teased fans by showing various references and connections to Spiderman from MCU.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Sony has rescheduled the release of Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage from October this year to June 2021. Tom Hardy’s Venom will now face yet another hardnosed supervillain, Cletus Kasady / Carnage, in the upcoming sequel. Woody Harrelson, Michelle Williams, Reid Scott, and Naomi Harris will also appear for their portrayal of respective characters in the much-awaited sequel.

Perhaps, some people believe that the post is just some marketing prop while some believe Hardy’s eye caught a fan art—whatever may be the reason everything unfolds when both movies hit theatres next year.
