When DC’s Standalone Movies Are In Line, “Justice League” Seems Far From The Theatres: What’s The Expected Release Date!!!

The superheroes of the Justice League are set to return as Justice League 2 comes to the screens.

After the poor reception of the first Justice League movie, it is surprising that there ever being a sequel, but Warner Bros. had already announced way back in 2014 that there would be 2 Justice League movies.

Originally, the sequel was supposed to come out in 2019, two years after the release of the first movie, but the second movie has been delayed for quite some time now.

With the standalone movies of DC doing so well, such as Wonder Woman and Aquaman, it almost feels right that the focus should be on making more movies like these before joining the superheroes back together in a team like the Justice League.

When will Justice League 2 release?

Justice League 2 was supposed to come out in 2019, but due to the poor performance of the first movie, it has been delayed quite significantly.

Considering the Flash movie is set to come out in 2021 and Wonder Woman 2 and Aquaman 2 are also being made, it looks like we won’t be seeing another Justice League movie before 2022.

Who will be in the cast?

Gal Gadot will be returning as Wonder Woman alongside Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa will also be returning as Aquaman with Ray Fischer also coming back as Cyborg.

Jesse Eisenberg may also be returning as Lex Luthor and Joe Manganiello may be joining the cast as Deathstroke.

The future of Henry Cavill as Superman is in doubt as he doesn’t have any deal to be playing the superhero as of yet.

Ben Affleck will definitely not be returning as Batman as he has moved past that role according to recent interviews.

What is going to happen?

After defeating Steppenwolf in the first movie, the logical enemy this time should be Darkseid, but it looks like Deathstroke might be teaming up with Lex Luthor to take on the mighty Justice League this time.

Joe Manganiello was shown as Deathstroke at the end credits scene of the first movie with Lex Luthor, which might be suggesting a potential team-up.
