The kissing Booth is a high school teenage drama that hit the right notes for a romantic comedy; it is based on a book written by Beth Reekles of the same name. The show was about a girl who has to deal with her crush at a kissing booth that she runs.
It was the most re-watched on Netflix and was right on the top with other successful projects, which is why it is no surprise that Netflix is coming up with a sequel for it. Let’s take a look at what is known as of yet about The Kissing Booth 2.
No definitive date has been announced by Netflix as of yet, but the streaming giant has given us a teaser, which suggests a release in spring 2020.
The shoot of the series was done in October 2019, and currently, the series is in post-production. Fans were very happy to see the teaser but were worried about Jacob Elordi not being in it. But it has been confirmed that he will be back to play Noah in the sequel.
Along with all the old members returning back, a few new additions have been made to the cast, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Taylor Perez have been confirmed as of now, and both of them are all set to play love interests but not amongst themselves.
At the end of the first movie, we saw Noah leaving for college, and Elle claiming that she does not know where their relationship is headed to. The sequel will, therefore, most probably give us an insight into how they deal with various new opportunities that they will come across.
Another question that comes into play is the fact whether the sequel will be based on the book a sort of spin-off written by the original writer and the answer to that is, Yes! No trailer is out as of now, Stay tuned for latest updates.
