Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3: Release Date, Platform and more. All you need to know!

Apparently, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is Remastered at Activision. It marks the third and the final game in Infinity Ward’s original FPS trilogy. That is getting the remastered treatment for the current generation hardware.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Release Date

The information has been leaked through TheGamingRevolution (call of duty leakers), saying the remastering had been in works for a long time now, although they are unable to clarify the release date for the remastered version.

Where to find Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3?

According to sources, Modern Warfare 3 has been ready since 2018 but not yet released. Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 were being remastered. So it would have been pointless to leave Modern Warfare 3 behind. Remastering all three would complete the trilogy, however, since Activision and Sony partnered up in this project from the beginning.

So Modern Warfare 2 and 3 both will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. But Modern Warfare 3 will release on PS4 probably a month before it releases on Xbox One and PC.

The remasters were to release in 2018, but due to some internal complications, they were delayed. But still, now, no news of a release is out yet. Though it is expected to release in 2020, nothing can be said for sure.

“In the world’s darkest hour, are you willing to do what is necessary?” reads the official Modern Warfare 3 description. But to much disappointment for the fans, just like Modern Warfare 2, Modern Warfare 3 will also be a single-player only. But it has been promised that there will be new guns and characters also in the remastered version. So to compare, there is both good and bad going to be in this version. But since there is no confirmed release date, fans are getting very impatient.
