    The Japanese Entertainment industry has a lot of manga series and its converted animated series. Every animated series is different from one another in terms of subject and genre. They always give us an unexpected concept, story, and plot full of joy. One such unique animated series is Cells at Work.

    Cells at Work is an animated series that is based on a Japanese manga with the same name, that is, Cells at Work. This Japanese manga series was written as well as illustrated by Akane Shimizu. It is basically a biological comedy series that deals with the Work of cells in the body.

    The series has one season in hand and is coming up with the second season. The first season was directed by Kenichi Suzuki, and the second season will be directed by Hirofumi Ogura. The series is produced by Yuma Takahashi. David Production is the studio of this series.

    The season one of the Cells at Work released on 8 July 2018 and ran till 29 September 2018. It had a total of 13 episodes, and later on, due to the demand of fans, a later special episode was added on 27 December 2018.

    It was announced on 23 March 2019; the makers said that they are renewing the series for the second time. It is currently on Work, or we can say in the production. The exact date of the second season is no!t yet confirmed. But it is confirmed that it will be releasing somewhere in January 2021.

They are- Erythrocyte or Red Blood Cells voiced by Kana Hanazawa (Japanese) and Cherami Leigh (English), Neutrophil or White Blood Cells by Tomoaki Maeno (Japanese) and Billy Kametz (English), Killer T Cell by Daisuke Ono (Japanese) and Robbie Daymond (English), Macrophage or Monocyte as Kikuko Inoue (Japanese) and Laura Post (English), Platelet by Maria Naganawa (Japanese) and Xanthe Huynh (English), Helper T Cell by Takahiro Sakurai (Japanese) and Raychase ( English), and Regulatory T Cell by Saori Hayami (Japanese) and Erica Mendez (English).

    The plot is very much biological in nature as it deals with the functioning of the body. The body function at the cellular level is its main theme. The setting is definitely inside the human body. There are numbers and numbers of anthropomorphic cells in the body, and they do their job just like it happens in real life. There are characters of the name called Red Blood Cell (AE3803) and White Blood Cell (U1146).
