Marvel to welcome She Thor in its Upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder!!! Who is entitled to play the role?? Know the Release Date, Plot, Cast and A Lot More

MCU’s God of Thunder will return to the cinemas once again and not just with Thunder, but with Love this time. Yes! At the San Diego Comic-Con 2019, the President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige gave us the complete blueprint for Phase 4 of MCU after the epochal Infinity Saga concluded with its last movie Spider-man: Far From Home (2019).

Seen in Avengers: Endgame (2019) last time, Thor was not living his best days or conditions, but the fans still couldn’t resist saying “ANOTHER!” and break the mug! (True fans will get this reference)

So, the Marvel Studios have announced the fourth installment to the Thor series, which will be titled Thor: Love and Thunder. Believe me; it’s more thrilling than it sounds!

Now we know you have so many When’s and What’s racing inside your head. This article will solve that problem too.

What is the Release Date of Thor: Love and Thunder?

November 5, 2021, was set as the initial release date for the film at the SDCC’19. However, due to some issues in the production, the creators had to push back the release date to February 28, 2022. Many other Marvel films and live-action television series, too, for the first time will be releasing in 2020 and 2021 until Thor 4 comes out.

As for now, the film is in the pre-production processes, and filming will hopefully begin by August 2020 in Sydney after the previous date was postponed, citing the Coronavirus Pandemic.

The Academy Award-winning director Taika Waititi, who was also the man behind the success of Thor: Ragnarok (2017), will be on the helm for the film’s direction.

Who Will Return for Thor: Love and Thunder?

As the title suggests, the Australian actor Chris Hemsworth will definitely return for the sequel, and now, because we have a new queen, or say, king of Asgard, Tessa Thompson will also reprise her role of Valkyrie. The hilarious character of Korg, voiced by Taika himself, will come back in Love and Thunder to give us belly laughs.

The most shocking of all is the comeback of Dr. Jane Foster! Played by actress Natalie Portman, Jane was last seen in Thor: The Dark World (2013), and finally, after so many years, she surprised everyone by lifting Thor’s hammer Mjolnir at the SDCC panel 2019. From this, it is sure that the makers will go deeper into the story this time for a fantastic sequel.

What to Expect from Thor: Love and Thunder??

Taika has disclosed little bits about what fans will see in the film. He said that the story would be based on the Marvel comic series Mighty Thor by Jason Aaron. For this, the mantle of Mighty Thor, aka She-Thor, will be taken by Natalie herself. Taika also gave the fans a concept art piece of the New Asgard from the scripts of Thor 4 during a Live Instagram Stream, which looks completely dope!

Tessa Thompson teased the fans about the next moves of Valkyrie. She said that she, as the new king of Asgard, will have to find a “Queen”. Yeah, we may also have the very first queer MCU character on the screens in this film.

Recent rumors suggest that the Guardians of the Galaxy will feature in the movie. Actor Vin Diesel, the voice of Groot, said in an interview,

The Director [Taika] talked to me about thor [Love and Thunder]. it will incorporate some of the Guardians of the Galaxy. That’ll be very interesting.

Nobody has quite said anything about what Thor will be doing in the next film. After all the losses he suffered by the end of Phase 3, we really don’t know if it will be the “Bro-Thor” from Endgame who’ll come back in the sequel. There’s probably something bizarre waiting for him this time.

Thor: Love and Thunder will move ahead of the saddening events of Endgame. Although the film gave us a proper closure, yet it led to the rise of innumerable plot twists we can see in the coming future.

We wish that we will have our Fun-Thor back with the same energy in the sequel, which definitely will be worth a watch.
