The Tom Holland starrer Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 has been in the talks for quite some time. This is for several reasons. The Phase 4 movies of the Marvel Universe were set to be out from this year in May. The Phase 4 releases would begin with Black Widow.

However, the fans all over the world were hit with remorse as the movie’s release got delayed. Due to the deadly Covid-19 around the world, Marvel had to shift the release of all its Phase 4 movies. The entire timeline of the Phase 4 movies of the Marvel universe got shifted by one step. So is Spider-Man 3 also getting delayed?

What’s the fate of Spider-Man 3?

Though all the Marvel movies have been delayed, there was no news about a shift in the dates of Spider-Man 3. This was for the reason that though Marvel is still featuring the Spider-Man movies, it is not essentially theirs.

The Spider-Man movies were bought by Sony and were allowed to be released under the banner of Marvel. Thus, Sony remained strong on the date announced previously. Until the beginning of April, there were no changes, and the movie was set to release on 16th July 2021. But there has been recent activity amongst the Sony Pictures. Find out below.

Spider-Man 3 new Release Date

The Sony Pictures very recently announced that there would be a change in the dates for Spider-Man 3 as well. The Marvel fans were already disappointed that there would be a delay in all the Marvel films. Spider-Man 3 not being delayed was a ray of sunshine for them. However, now the movie has been delayed as well, leaving all fans devastated. Sony Pictures shifted the release date from 16th July 2021 to 5th November 2021.

Though the shift is only for a period of four months, it is still an unwelcome delay. We would see Tom Holland once again as Peter Parker. He will pick up from the third movie from the post-credit scene in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Tom was set to begin the shooting for the movie at the end of this year. However, he revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live that he was not sure when the shooting would resume. He also revealed that the movie had been shut down on the first date of production itself.
