The reason for death is rumored to be the complications brought up by his cancer. Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and had visited New York for the treatment. When he returned from the US recently, his close ones confirmed that the treatment was successfully performed.
His beloved wife, Neetu Kapoor, was by his side during his last moments in this world, and he had pretty mesmerizing memories with her—sharing the screen together for a number of twelve films in Bollywood. The couple was survived by their two children—Ranbir Kapoor and Ridhima Kapoor.
