Brit Bennett is an American writer; she completed her graduation from Stanford University with a B.A..A. in English. Later, she has done her (M.F.A..) from the University of Michigan. She also had been a student at Oxford University. Her debut novel was “The Mothers” which was a New York Times best-seller, the popularity of Novel ended up making its film adaptation with Kerry Washington as a producer. Apart from this, she has also published various essays that earned the attention of many readers.

The book is expected to be released on 2nd June 2020 by Riverhead books. The book “Vanishing Half” portrays the story of Vignes Twin sisters who ran from their southern black community at the age of 16 and later on after ten years both decide to live in two opposite world, one back to the southern town with her black daughter and another to California with her white husband who knows nothing about her past and struggling with an identity crisis, Both away from each other and separated in a different world of white and blacks but get intersect by next-generation, by their daughters and from their many twists turns and emotions… The storyline already aroused my interest, and it will definitely be part of my shelf.
