One of the talented veteran actors in Indian cinema, Rishi Kapoor tragically passed away on Thursday after a long battle with cancer.
Legendary actor Amitabh Bachhan first confirmed the devastating news through his social media handle tweeting that he has gone and thus the Sholay actor is destroyed upon hearing the news. The 67-year-old actor was rushed to Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai and apparently breathed his last there.

Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer two years ago and since then he has been struggling with the deadly disease. He even visited New York for treatment and successfully treated cancer for like a year.

Rishi’s brother and fellow actor, Randhir Kapoor previously confirmed that the Do Dooni Char actor was hospitalized on Wednesday morning after he faced some complications in his health. His wife, Neetu Kapoor was by his side during Rishi’s final moments before death.
