The ending of the Spiderman: Far From Home has left all of us wondering about the ultimate fate of Peter Parker, our beloved friendly neighborhood superhero.
The Internet is filled with rumors and fan-theories, describing the ultimate fate of our beloved teenage superhero. But famous film-maker and die-hard Marvel fanboy recently reported that Marvel Studios is trying to bring Charlie Cox (who played Matt Murdock in Netflix’s Daredevil) as a lawyer for the Marvel Studio’s Spiderman (portrayed by English actor Tom Holland).
Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, is the masked vigilante in Hell’s Kitchen, New York, and fight crimes at night but serves as a lawyer in the day. In Marvel Comics, Daredevil and Spiderman have worked together for various occasions and helped each other in difficulties and fight against the crime. Peter Parker might be dragged into legal works in the upcoming Spiderman 3 after J. J. Johnson made people believe that Peter Parker killed Mysterio. The best man to prove Spiderman’s innocence is Matt Murdock because he is also one of the good guys and always supports truth.
The rumor isn’t just a random rumor available on the Internet because the rumor was told by someone who has been in the entertainment industry for so long and probably knows much inside stuff. Kevin Smith, in his Fatman on Batman podcast, mentioned that he had heard something about Marvel pursuing to drag Charlie Cox into Marvel Cinematic Universe as Matt Murdock or Peter Parker’s lawyer.
Charlie Cox appeared in the Netflix’s Daredevil for three seasons before the streaming giant canceled the show in 2018. According to a strange deal between Marvel and Sony, Daredevil cannot make an appearance in non-Netflix shows for two years after the show’s cancellation from Netflix. Spiderman 3 is coming next year, and the production hasn’t begun. It might get delayed due to coronavirus pandemic, so we can assume that there is enough time to think about Cox’s appearance in MCU, and it would be thrilling if that happens.
