Early 2020 has witnessed abrupt changes and effects on the movie industry, and Hollywood continues to struggle to thrive in such a global crisis. Many productions have been put on hold, and the release dates have been pushed, while some of them still worked out to arrive soon. All of that being said now, we still have a lot of movies on the way this year though we have to wait a bit longer.

It is a remake to the 1998 animated hit Mulan. The Disney fairy tale is supposed to be released on July 24. The titular role is played by Liu Yifei of a teenage girl residing in ancient China who disguised as a boy who tries to take her aging father’s place in the Imperial Army. You can check out the trailer that has been released and is spectacular to make the audience much eager for the movie.
Wonder Woman 1984
The Supergirl from DC universe has been much appreciated and is back with a sequel to star Gal Gadot as Diana Prince. The movie is set in the ’80s, where she and Steve Trevor (not any more dead) would be seen facing the iconic DC villains- Maxwell Lord and Cheetah. The movie is set to arrive on August 14.
Top Gun: Maverick
The movie releases on December 23 and marks the return of Tom Cruise as the hotshot fighter pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. It is a sequel to the 1986 movie, which was a huge success.
The new version to the Roald Dahl’s children classic that came out in 1990 with the ever scary Grand high witch is now set to be back. It will arrive on October 16 to charm the viewers like Dahl’s fantasy stories always did.
Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff is in the spotlight with the MCU thriller – Black widow. The movie is going to release on November 6. A trailer has already been out but doesn’t reveal unnecessary plot details, so fans await the movie’s arrival to unravel the whole story.
It is an adaptation of Eoin Colfer’s young adult fantasy series going to premiere on Disney+ in June this year. The story focusses on a twelve-year-old genius whose father gets kidnapped, and in the process of rescuing him, Artemis discovers his dad’s double life and a mysterious world of fairies, dwarves, monsters and some really high-level technology.
