It’s going to be a great year for all the bibliophiles with all the books released and are going to be released soon. The fantasy author Patrick Rothfuss recently dropped a hint on the much-awaited third installment of The Doors of Stone, in an interview. Fans are really excited upon hearing the news of the arrival of the fantasy genre series.
The author has been in reports to be working on the next installment since 2011. It is the final edition in the KingKiller trilogy. He also stated in an interview not to believe in any baseless rumors regarding the book. Back in 2019, there was a buzz around the release of the book, but Patrick clearly stated that the book has been underwriting.
All About The Doors of Stone
The first two books were about the story of an adventurer Kvothe as he encounters all sorts of fantasies in his way. The forthcoming book will pick up from where the story of Kvothe concluded in the KingKiller trilogy’s second part – The Wise Man’s fear. Once Patrick also revealed that he was not a fan of the title of the series, but it was kept anyhow. The upcoming part of the trilogy is going to be a rather shorter one as compared to the others.
The Doors of Stone Release Date
Patrick confirmed in a recent podcast that the book is under fine progress and sources have it the book is going to be released sometime in August 2020. Many book depositories and shopping spots such as Amazon have put the book for sale in August. But as in the recent podcast, Patrick declared that he’s not bothered about deadlines, but the book will be out, once it is finished. Although there has been no official confirmation, fans keep hoping to get their hands early on the piece.
There have been no revelations of any excerpts from the book yet. However, having finished both The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man’s Fear, readers have a fine idea of what to expect from the forthcoming book.
