The second season of Bofuri has been announced and will be on screen soon. The first season consisted of 12 episodes in total and made its debut on January 8, 2020. The series is adapted from a novel and had received positive reviews for the anime just after the release of it.

Plot
To date, the show makers did not reveal anything regarding the plot of the second season. But it is certain that the upcoming season will begin from where it has ended in the previous season.

Kaede Honjo sets out to play an online game under the name Maple created by her. But she only took the option of shielding the user as she is afraid of being wounded.
At each level, she gets points for defense level and has to overcome many troubles as she holds no power or anything that is important in the game.
However, she becomes capable of managing herself throughout the game with just the defense option and finally ends up having all the skills an advanced player should have. She becomes more creative and powerful than others.
