The supernatural comedy film Ghostbusters: Afterlife directed by Jason Reitman and distributed by Sony Entertainment Pictures will be in theaters. But we may have to wait for a while.
Well, the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic led to the delay of many films that were about to release this year. Moreover, Ghostbusters: Afterlife is one of them.
The upcoming movie is the official sequel to the Ghostbusters franchise. Which means this is the third movie developed as the continuation of the Ghostbusters 1984 and Ghostbusters 2 1999. Also, it has nothing to do with the reboot made in 2016.

The Plot of Ghostbusters Afterlife
Overall, the plot of the upcoming movie revolves around a single mother and her two children. Three of them shift to their grandfather’s place located in Summerville, Oklahoma.
The whole place unexpectedly encounters an earthquake in which both the children find out the actual connection that their family has with the Ghostbusters.
