Food Wars is an anime adaptation of Japanese manga series of the same name. It was first aired in April 2015, followed by its second season in July 2016. The third and fourth season of this series aired in October 2017 and October 2019, respectively.

Why the Series gets hampered?
Food Wars Season 5 is already on air, but the episodes airing gets hampered due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Two episodes of the Series are already on air, but the release date for the third episode gets delayed. Before the delay, it was going to be released on April 25, 2020. But now, the release date for the same is not yet announced.
“Food Wars!” Season 5 Episode 3 is now scheduled to air Friday (July 17)
According to the official statement that the makers released Saturday (May 30), Tokyo MX, BS11 and ABEMA will start airing “Food Wars!” Season 5 from July 3. The networks will broadcast from the first episode of the current season.
Before going into coronavirus pandemic break, the makers released two episodes of the ongoing “Food Wars!” Season 5.

What to expect from Episode 3? Spoilers for Episode 3
With the end of Episode 2, we watched that a food war between Suzuki and Soma is waiting for us. With Episode 3, we will see a food war between Soma and Suzuki, and it will be judged by Megumi. The one who wins will eventually be with Nakiri. But we are not sure who will win this, the decision will come down to Nakiri.
