Sherlock Holmes is an American action movie. It is a movie full of suspense and mystery. The movie was based on the characters of the same name, Sherlock Holmes and John Watson by Sir Arthur Conan Dyle. The movie was directed by Guy Ritchie and was produced by Joel Silver, Lionel Wigram, Susan Downey, and Dan Lin. The movie had two parts in hand and the third part is waiting to get a release. So when are we getting the third part?
The release days of Sherlock Holmes 3
The first part of Sherlock Holmes released in North America on 25 December 2009. It did so well with the budget of $90million and collected $524 million worldwide. The maker announced the second part of the movie. It was named as Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. The second part released on 16 December 2011 and has collected a huge amount. After the gap of almost 10 years we are again getting back this movie. The work upon the third part has started in 2016 but due to the busy and overloaded schedule of Robert Downey Junior and his commitment towards the Marvel has led this movie towards delay. The movie is now that proper release date, and that is 16 December 2021. But this release date is quite impossible because of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Let’s see, whether we will get a new release date or not.
The characters and the casts of Sherlock Holmes 3
The characters of Sherlock Holmes will almost be the same as the earlier parts had as the story requires the same characters. The cast will also be the same as earlier. The two leads are-, Robert Downey Junior as Sherlock Holmes, Jude Law as John Watson and Rachel McAdams as Irene Adler. The other possible characters could be(as per the second part)- Jared Harris as Professor James Moriarty, Noomi Rapace as a Madam Simza Heron, Â and Stephen Fry as Mycrot Holmes. The rest of the characters are not fixed.
The plot of Sherlock Holmes 3
This time the third part would be written by Chris Brancato. The setting of the movie would be in the 1890s. The story is about a detective called Sherlock Holmes played by Robert Downey Junior and his companion called John Watson played by Jude Law. They both are hired to foil a mysterious plot against the British Empire by a society. The whole plot of part 3 is yet to announced. But those who have seen the earlier parts of the movie can guess what could the possible plots.
Fans are really very excited but they are at the same time upset as they might be knowing about the possible delays of Sherlock Holmes 3.
