The drama is a coming-of-age, campus story about 3 particular 20-year olds whose lives appear to be picture perfect or a life anyone would dream of, despite how cold and harsh reality is from a different point of view.

The show’s first episode was aired on June 14, 2021. Also known as Meolriseo Bomyun Pooreun Bom, the show went on to have 12 episodes, one hour each before finally ending on July 20, 2021.

Once during a group project, he happens to meet our second male lead Nam Soo-Hyun (played by Bae In Hyuk), a 3rd year in his department with straight A’s but a not-so-great personality according to the students of Myeongil University. Soo-Hyun is only concerned with earning school credits and enough money to help his family as he comes from a poor family. Because of that, he doesn’t have time for friends but for some reason, Yeo Jun takes a strange yet adorable liking to him, and gradually the two form a close bond with each other, sharing their pain and struggles with one another. Along comes 3rd year Kim So-bin (played by Kang Min Ah), an average student who wrestles to stand out among the crowd. Together, the three form an uncanny trio, and the show majorly revolves around that.

About the Cast:

One of the main cast, Park JiHoon initially debuted as a child actor before debuting as an idol in former music band “Wanna One”. He also played the lead role in the drama “Love Revolution” (released in 2020) which too was based on a webtoon.

Kang Min Ah starring Kim So-Bin, known for her role as Choi Soo-Ah, is the best friend of the main character in the webtoon-inspired series “True Beauty” and also in the hit web drama “A-Teen 2”.

And finally, Bae In Hyuk gained popularity with yet another webtoon drama “My Roommate is a Gumiho” and “XX”.

Updates on the New Season:

Directed by Kim Jung-Hyun, the show ended on good terms despite being on a different route from the webtoon series. Since the show’s ambiguous conclusion, it has left k-drama fans wanting more. However, there is also no official statement of season 2 released by the production team as of yet. The decision would mainly depend on the production house and the popularity of the series.
