Grant Holloway Wins Third Indoor World Championships Gold at Nanjing 2025 – FloTrack

Grant Holloway continued his dominant reign in the 60m hurdles at the 2025 World Indoor Championships in Nanjing, earning his third straight indoor gold in the event. “It wasn’t my best two rounds, but it’s the final that counts,” Holloway said after the race. He broke the tape in 7.42. France’s Wilhem Belocian earned silver (7.54) and China’s Junxi Liu earned bronze (7.55)
One of the greatest high hurdlers ever, Holloway claimed his seventh global championship gold medal. In addition to his three Indoor World Championships golds (2022 Belgrade, 2024 Glasgow, 2025 Nanjing), Holloway has won gold at three consecutive Outdoor World Championships in the 110m hurdles (2019 Doha, 2022 Eugene, 2023 Budapest). He became the first professional hurdler to win three consecutive Indoor World Championships and three consecutive Outdoor World Championships. He’s also the defending Olympic Champion (Paris 2024) in the 110m hurdles.
With his three race victories in Nanjing, Holloway extended a 70+ indoor hurdles winning streak that dates back to his sophomore year of high school in March 2014. With another successful indoor season complete, Holloway is shifting his attention to outdoor season. “It’s a World Championship year. (I want) to go out and defend my titles. I still don’t have a World Record outdoors, so that’s another big thing,” Holloway said.
