4×100 and 4×400 Relays
The Webster City girls track team secured a runner-up finish here Tuesday night at the Richard Ryan Relays hosted by Southeast Valley. The Lynx scored 98.5 points to place second behind Carroll in Class A. The B title went to South Central Calhoun.
The Lynx were also first in both the sprint medley and 4×800 relays. Running the sprint medley for Webster City were Tristyn Wright, Kali Hartnett, Cloe Savitski and Isabel Grossoehme. The 4×800 consisted of Lydia VanDeer, Haedyn Soesbe, Evie Davis and Carmen Santiago.
Both the 4×100 and 4×400 relays placed second overall. Running the 4×100 were Savitski, Wright, Hartnett and Grossoehme, as the 4×400 featured VanDeer, Soesbe, Davis and Ariauna Reed.

“The Richard Ryan Relays was an excellent opportunity for the girls to get outdoors and compete,” WCHS head coach Tyler Mosbach said. “I am incredibly thankful that Southeast Valley was willing to move their meet instead of cancel to allow the girls a chance to improve and have some fun.”
“We had several personal records and some excellent times for this point in the season. I was proud of the desire to improve and work hard, and I look forward to seeing what the next meet will bring.”
