The young American actor Zac Efron is well known for his charm and brilliant acting in movies like The Greatest Showman and The Beach Bum. This American heart-throb seems to be all set to wear the shoes of Wolverine.
Hugh Jackman has been playing the role of Wolverine since X- Men was released way back in 2000. In 2017, Jackman retired as Wolverine after the completion and release of the movie Logan. Subsequently, sticking to his stand of not playing the role of Wolverine again. This, in spite of many fans and even actors like Ryan Reynolds, has tried to convince him to change his mind.
Earlier this year, Marvel Studio, having no other option started looking out for a replacement preferably with a young actor. This would be a new Wolverine for the modern age.
Many brilliant and young actors could be considered for the role of Wolverine. Beside Zac Efron, Daniel Radcliffe being possible entrants. By all accounts, Zac Efron would be seen to be the best choice for the role of Wolverine.
The concerned however remains that Wolverine is known for his sporty look and short, bulky physique. Efron, however, isn’t that muscular and heavyset.
As of now, everything about Wolverine appears to be blowing in the wind – opinions, rumors and all the rest. Meanwhile, fans eagerly await for the next young face to appear on the big screen. It is expected some announcement from the Marvel Studio will be forthcoming soon.
