SPOILER WARNING!!!!!
Description: The Avengers are returning to the theatres
Heart of the matter:
In an interview with several media outlets, Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige has confirmed that Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to be re-released in theatres with new footages that did not appear in the initial release.
The re-release comes just days before the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home. The choice of re-releasing the movie at this time could be a good one, as it would allow the audience to smoothly transition into Far From Home, which will address the void that is left in the world after Tony Stark’s death. Feige confirmed that new edition will not be an extended cut, but instead it will be the same movie with some new surprises.
Feige told Screen Rant, “Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the whole movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene for sure, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.”
Overview of the situation:
Endgame is astronomically close to matching Avatar in terms of profit. Endgame needs approximately $44 million to dethrone Cameron’s masterpiece as the most successful film of all time. And this re-release might be the push that can place the MCU flick on the top.

It is speculated that the film will contain a tribute to Marvel legend writer Stan Lee, who is responsible for the creation of many characters who show up in the MCU. Stan Lee himself cameo’d in almost all movies relating to Marvel characters.
Endgame deals with the devastation caused in the wake of Thanos’ snap. After Stark is rescued from space, the remaining superheroes team up and find a way to undo the Mad Titans act of turning half of the population in the dust. Whereas, Spider-Man: Far From Home will see the world cope up with the demise of Iron Man and Peter Parker trying to fill the boots of his deceased mentor.
Avengers: Endgame will hit the theatres again on June 28, 2019.
Spider-Man: Far From Home has a release date of July 5, 2019.
