Dead To Me is a black comedy which garnered an audience’s appreciation as soon as it released in May 2019 on Netflix is coming back with season 2.
Release date of season 2:
Netflix renewed the show just after a few weeks of the launching of season 1. Actor Christina Applegate took to her Twitter handle and confirmed that viewers would soon be watching season 2 which is expected to release next year.

What is the show all about?
The series stars Christina Applegate as Jen Harding, a widow, and mother of two; and Linda Cardellini as Judy Hale who after meeting at a grief counseling session become good friends. The show focuses on their blossoming friendship. But it had a significant plot-twist when Jen came to know that Linda was responsible for the hit-and-run case which killed her husband.
The season 1 ended with a major cliffhanger with Jen and Linda standing over the floating dead body of Linda’s ex-fiance, Steve (James Marsden). It looked like Jen was the one who killed him.
What and who will be there in season 2?
Creator, Lez Feldman said that the ending is not exactly what we think. Netflix will have to order a season 2 to for all of us to know. It looks like Jen might not be the one to kill him. But at the point, we can only predict and to understand who murdered Steve. We have wait for season 2. The new season will focus on the death mystery of Steve and the conflicts in Jen and Linda’s friendship.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Feldman said that the show would explore the dark sides and the light sides of grief, loss, forgiveness, and friendship. So, it will have more darkness.
Applegate and Cardellini will surely be back in season 2. About the new characters, as of now, no one knows. For that, we have to wait to watch season 2 of Dead To Me.Â
