Happy summer solstice and International Yoga Day! Jivamukti Yoga Jersey City in partnership with HDSID (Historic Downtown Special Improvement District), the City of Jersey City and the Jersey City Office of Cultural Affairs announced second annual Yoga Fest Jersey City on Saturday, June 22, 2019. It will be an event that is free to all and inclusive. The public event is held that includes 108 sun salutations in an outdoor venue.
According to the event’s website, Yoga 0Fest Jersey City is designed to celebrate unity through yoga in Jersey City. In addition to that, it is to establish Jersey City as a yoga destination. It proceeds with the faith that it is possible to have everyone come together and work in harmony.

WHAT’S NEW
This year’s event includes approaches like a chair, laughter yoga, and yoga for those who may not be as able-bodied as to others. Laughter yoga is especially popular as the wise old saying goes, laughter is the best medicine, and voluntary laughter brings about release of happy brain chemicals and improves the overall wellbeing of an individual, laughter yoga is also a group activity and family friendly as well.
The featured guest is the international yoga teacher Yogeswari. The event will include musical performances from CC White & Soul Kirtan, Devadas, Debra Devi, Universal Rebel, Mindra & Family, Arjun Verma, and Samarth Nagarkar.

The management recommends pre-registration for the event. Registration On-Site will commence at 6:30 a.m. and the first 200 attendees will receive a gift bag.

The Yoga Fest will commence at 7 a.m. at the Newark Pedestrian Plaza, Downtown, New Jersey. It will last for 11 hours.
