A snap of Bill Murray whispering into Selena Gomez’s ears went viral. She was quizzed about the famous photograph from the Cannes Film Festival, on the show. Gomez shared details about the light-hearted moment with the actor.
“He just says the dumbest things,” Selena Gomez clarified. “He’ll just like, ask me about like, hot dogs, and then say something else like, ‘You look nice, Gomez.’ And then he’ll kind of like, lean in again and he’ll be like, ‘Where are you from again?'”
Fans have speculated about their relationship status after the photograph. The actress denied dating Bill Murray. However, Selena Gomez definitely toyed with the idea during her interview.
“He’s so cool,” Gomez shared. “I just feel like he’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever met, and he’s so genuine and he’s so kind. If he were 20 years younger I would definitely …”
The duo is currently working on a new movie together. Speaking on ET, Selena Gomez talked about her experience of working with Bill Murray.
“It was iconic being able to work with Bill Murray and just on top of it, his personality,” Selena Gomez said of her co-star. “He has no idea who I am! And, he refuses to call me Selena. He basically calls me Gomez, so it’s actually the best — it’s the best part of working with him!”
“He actually literally stole the cop car in one scene and just took everyone on a joy ride.” She continued about Bill Murray’s shenanigans on set. “He does that.”
