Till the inception of Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff in MCU, we have not got to see any standalone film of her. Marvel has also canceled the plan multiple times. But now it seems like things are going for good.
The principal photography of the movie has been started. Marvel is as always keeping mum on any information related to the movie. But according to a leak, the filming is happening in Budapest, Hungary. New set photos have revealed that Yelena Belova might be a part of the film.

According to comics, Yelena Belova is a spy like Natasha, who was trained in the Soviet facility Red Room. She was given a task to finish Romanoff but ended up becoming an ally.
Budapest is a place significant to Black Widow’s back story. Clint Barton gives reference to Budapest multiple times, aka Hawkeye and Black Widow. In fact, in Avengers: Endgame, the reference was once again given. This seems like we will finally know in the movie that what had actually happened in Budapest.

Apart from Yelena Belova, new set photos have also shown Taskmaster who is reportedly played by O-T Fagbenle will feature in the film. A car chase scene has been allegedly shooting between the Natasha and him. But there is no confirmation about whether he will be the actual villain or not.
But it will be interesting to see Taskmaster fight against Romanoff as the Taskmaster can learn something which he doesn’t know in a short period. So we can expect that we will be having a great fighting scene in the movie.
The movie is currently under production and is directed by Cate Shortland. The movie is expected to be released in 2020.
