Tabloids previously reported that country singer, Kenny Rogers was on his deathbed but it was far from the truth. The singer has made an official announcement on social media and has updated fans about his health.
Kenny Rogers was recently hospitalized due to an issue and tabloids took that as confirmation for a very serious issue which led to speculation that Rogers might be living his last moments. Kenny’s representatives made a post on his official Twitter account to assure fans that everything is okay and he is here to stay.

The rumors stated that he was suffering from bladder cancer and was in critical condition. It turns out he was only hospitalized for dehydration because of the severe weather and exertion from his world tour. The 80 year old singer will be in the hospital receiving physical therapy to gain back his strength until he is fit enough to be discharged.
“He will remain there to complete some physical therapy to get his strength back prior to discharge. He appreciates the concern and well wishes he has received from his fans and can assure everyone he plans on sticking around through the years to come.”
The ‘Lucille’ singer retired back in 2015 but that didn’t stop him from performing for his beloved fans. He always said that he wished he could be more in touch with them. His health issues started way back when he retired and had to be pulled out of his concerts because of it.
Rogers is very disappointed because he wishes he could do more, and perform more, but old age has messed with his mobility, as stated in the ‘Today Show’. The singer was always full of life and if he could, he would go on another tour but as of now, he is safe and is out of danger, and is being treated in a hospital in Georgia.
