So, if we go by the reports, then this Rockstar game will also include all the cities it has since the PS2. This suggests Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas, Liberty City, Vice City, and more will be there to give a better experience to the player.
If we consider former Rockstar President Leslie Benzies’ statement of 2013, then we can expect more from the game. “To grow this world until it’s the world. We’re just going to add on new things to it, new places all the time,” he said about the GTA online world.
In another interview with Digital Trend, we heard from him that “Of course at some point, we would like to have one big world containing all our cities and let the player fly between them and revisit their favorite areas, and in that context, reimagining Vice City would be very interesting.”
Hurdles In Creating New Cities
But there is a high contrast between his words and reality. Because we have not witnessed any world with new cities. Though we had an ate for interior locations, vehicles, more missions. But not something Leslie talked about.
However, earlier, he also suggested that what could be the hurdle in this ambition of creating new places. Once he stated that “The only limitation is the size of the disc and how much memory we’ve got. We could, if we wanted, simulate the entire world, different countries, whatever.”
