The annual Fourth of July celebration at gypsy hill park in Staunton was started 49 years ago by the Statler brothers. With the idea of celebrating the nation’s heritage with a free concert, parade, and fireworks for the hometown folks.

TEXAS

It hosts the largest fireworks display in the country. Preparations for the event takes place over Manhattan’s east river between the broad street and Brooklyn bridge. Prime viewing locations in Manhattan are on elevated portions of Franklin D.Roosevelt drive and the lower promenade.
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA
The big bay boom’s 18-minute fireworks show is California’s premiere independence day celebration. Shelter island is the best location for viewing, and people visit in millions. More than 75,000 people flock to the Minneapolis riverfront for live music, show, food, friends, family, and fun activities, & of course fireworks. The marathon, relay, 5k races, and other physical events begin at 6:50 a.m.
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE
Nashville’s “let freedom sing !” July 4th celebration turns it into a musical city. The Grammy award-winning Nashville Symphony will perform in the fireworks show. Just book a river cruise on the Creole Queen or the Steamboat Natchez for an unbeatable view.
WASHINGTON D.C.
Washinton’s national mall fireworks display is not to be missed, hosted by John Stamos. Lincoln memorial step is the prime seating location to enjoy a 35-minute show. Before this year’s show, president trump will deliver a “salute to America” speech from the Lincoln memorial.
