The New Jersey Department of Transportation has reported that due to falling debris they closed parts of the Route 3’s westbound lanes in Clifton near Valley Road, on Tuesday.

New Jersey DOT officials have said that chunks of concrete fell on the Route 3 from the Route 46 bridge. The Route 46 Crosses over a part of the Route and that were the concrete fell, DOT officials added.
There is no reported damage to any vehicle on the Route 3. DOT officials and engineers are on the scene and are evaluating the part from where the concrete fell off.
Officials said that this incident will likely cause motorist 15-20 minute delay.
