Man Killed, Shawnee Mission Parkway in Merriam

Johnson County: Authorities are examining a deadly accident along Shawnee Mission Parkway in Merriam, Kan.

That happened soon after 10:00 a.m. on Shawnee Mission Parkway close Mackey Street this Tuesday. Johnson County Med-Act affirms one individual was also killed in that crash.

Merriam police said the injured individual was a lady who was riding in a vehicle which was being driven by her Husband.

The man endured some non-hazardous wounds in the accident.

Police said somewhere around one other vehicle was also included.

Merriam Police said because of this accident, the eastward paths of Shawnee Mission Parkway will be shut among Antioch and Hadley until further notice.
