Finally Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, and Emma Stone are back to reprise their role in the Zombieland sequel.
The sequel to the surprise hit of 2009, Zombieland 2: Sony Pictures released double Tap’s trailer. It has nearly been a decade since its predecessor released and became a cult classic hit. Zombieland gave a different twist to the usual horror genre of zombies. It added dark comedy, fun, quirkiness, jump scare and horror together in a bowl and mixed it up to get a cocktail of entertainment. The audience gave this cocktail unprecedented love, and thus, a cult classic was born.
And now we have something to be happy about. Finally, we get a sequel to the Zombieland frenzy of 2009. The cast of the first movie has all returned to work with director Ruben Fleischer (Venom) and the original writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool). Other than the original cast we have the likes of Rosario Dawson, Zoey Deutch and Avan Jogia who’ll portray the roles of new survivors in the movie.
The trailer for the movie is a sight to behold. It opens by focusing on its cast and how they are all Oscar nominees or winners. And then we see the lead cast take out several zombies all the while making everything seem easy but impressive. After this, they nonchalantly reclaim white House for themselves, and things unfold from there. Just watch the trailer.
According to official sources, in the new movie, the lead cast will have to face off against new kinds of zombies that have evolved. They will also meet some new human service but most of all they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family. The movie will hit the theatre on October 18, 2019.
