Black Mirror first burst onto our screens with its drama and energy back in 2011 on Channel 4. It was then snapped up by Netflix where it became a fan-favorite for a global audience. And Season 6 should undoubtedly keep that up. So here’s everything you need to know about the sixth installment of this TV series.
Where Season 5 Left Us
Black Mirror’s last season aired on June 5 of this year. Not for the faint-hearted, Season 5 kept up the dark themes and vivid storytelling, and according to director Charlie Brooker and Executive producer Annabel Jones, that journey intends to continue.
“I think “Bandersnatch” has proven it can exist as a single film,” Jones has said to Digital Spy. “I like that idea, doing one. It’s interesting for us, and hopefully for viewers, to find other ways… other forms of storytelling in which to dramatize things, if they’re earned.”
Brooker added in the same, “I don’t think there’s anything to stop us… we could do one-offs, we could do an ongoing story, we could do spin-offs.”
It seems pretty likely that season 6 is happening with this.

The Cast For Season 6
Every season of Black Mirror has a new cast, so it’s hard to say at this point. Season 5 featured popular actors Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie and Bryce Dallas Howard. The show will probably keep that fame rating up by bringing in new, equally talented actors.
When Will We Get To See It?
Release of Balck Mirror has been wildly unpredictable. There isn’t a pattern, with seasons dropping in June, February, October and even December on Netflix. When will the new season come out? It’s anyone’s guess. But we could also see it in 2019 itself, on a positive note.

Previous seasons of Black Mirror have had episodes between 3 to 6. So why should Season 6 be any different? The crew is definitely leaning towards more interactive episodes, though.
