Global Citizen Festival Will Be Taking Place On 28th September
Yas, Global Citizen Festival is back in NYC’s Central Park Great Lawn on 28th September. It will be joined by influential leaders, activists, and top artists. They all gather together to fight poverty. The tickets like always will be free for the Global Citizen Festival for those who are taking actions around the world for creating lasting changes.
The music line up will be such: Queen + Adam Lambert, Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys, OneRepublic, H.E.R., and Carole King. The guest performance will be by French Montana, Ben Platt, and Jon Batiste & Stay Human.
Hosts and Co-hosts
Guess who will be the host for this sixth mega-festival! Deborra-Lee Furness and Hugh Jackman. The co-hosts will be Bomer, Rachel Brosnahan, Elvis Duran, Taraji P. Henson, Rami Malek, Bill Nye, Joy Reid, and Forest Whitaker.
This is what the CEO of the fest said: “After next year we will have only ten short years to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The policies and progress that we make this year, and into 2020, will determine whether we successfully eradicate extreme poverty by 2030, and failure is not an option for the world’s poor.”
