The king of random is one of most popular science-focused Youtube channels, and Grant Thompson was the creator of this popular Youtube channel. After the investigation, the authorities said that Grant died Monday in a paragliding crash in southern Utah.
Jonathan Grant Thompson, a 38-year-old popular YouTuber, was identified as the paraglider whose body was recovered near Sand Hollow State Park the Washington  County Sheriff Lt. Dave Crouse told Buzz Media.
On a Monday night, the authorities were alerted to a missing paraglider. The pilot was reported to taken flight from the Dixie Springs subdivision near the state park on a Monday night
A caller reported the police that Grant was not answering his calls after the report the officer Hurricane Police Department and Bureau of Land Management quickly responded to the area. With the help of last-known GPS tracker, the police, volunteers and the sheriff Rescue team located Thompson’s team.
The sheriff and the team are continuing the investigation. They have checked the equipment used in omake. With the video, they are trying to determine the cause of the crash.
Thompson has created this science-focused Youtube channel “The King of Random” back in 2010. Since then Thompson and his team have created a hundred of videos featuring various science experiments, life hacks, and other projects like how to make gummy LEGO’s, etc. The channel has a huge fan base, and the chain has collected more than 11 million subscribers and have more than billions of views.
The king of random channel team has posted a video announcing the death of Thompson on Tuesday. The channel team said that “Grant had great love and appreciation for his fans. We invite you to share your thoughts for Grant and the channel in the comments, ” they added that “Please do a random act of love or kindness today in honor of The King of Random. Grant’s legacy will live on in the channel and the global community he created.”
